CMEO's Wiener Dog Race

CMEO's Wiener Dog Race fundraising event invites wiener dog owners from all over the region to showcase their dogs in a relay race with contests for speed and style. Held the last Friday of June, CMEO's Wiener Dog Race is an evening of packed full of family fun! The race is set up in the 400 block next to the popular Friday night “Farmers Market.” Food, drinks, children’s activities, vendors and a raffle will round out the family-fun evening! All proceeds will benefit the Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon.

Dog Costume Contest:
A costume contest is held before the race for any dog breed with prizes being awarded in the categories of “Most Elegant,” “Funniest,” and “Look Alike”!

Race Rules & Regulations
· All dogs must have current shots.
· Must be a Wiener Dog. No mixed breeds please.
· May bring your dog’s favorite toy.
· All dogs must be on a leash.
· Owners are required to cleanup their dog’s accidents.
· Dogs should be on their best behavior (i.e. no fighting or biting).
· Only one owner in the racetrack area.
· No waving blankets or other large items at the start of the race.
